Bertha A. Marrujo , 65, passed away on March 19, 2017 in El Paso, Texas. She was born on July 26, 1951 in Ruidoso, New Mexico to Frutoso and Clara Marrujo. Bertha was employed and retired from Holloman Air Force Base with Army Air. She loved spoiling her nieces and nephews. Bertha was an avid Wildcat and NMSU Aggie fan. She loved to read her mysteries. Bertha was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, God mother and friend.Survivors include her parents, Frutoso and Clara Marrujo of Tularosa, NM; sisters, Esther Sainz of T or C, and Janie Aragon (Jeff); brother, Charlie Marrujo (Vivian); nephews, Levi Sainz, Gavin Meyers, Justin Marrujo, Nathan Aragon, and Cobi Joe Bigas; nieces, Connie Meyers, Leyanni Annette Garcia, Kristi Bigas, Kayleigh Rae Bigas, Alexis Salazar, and Mariah Salazar. She was preceded in death by her niece, Amber Aragon and nephew, Daniel Salazar.The Vigil with Rosary for Bertha Marrujo will be recited at 9:30 am, Friday, March 24, 2017 at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church by Steve and Liz Chavez. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Friday, March 24, 2017 at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church with Father Theophine Okator, Celebrant.Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Tularosa, New Mexico.
