We are saddened to announce the passing of Bernice Bryant, who was born on February 24, 1933, in Bolton, Mississippi, United States. Bernice peacefully passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 92. She was the beloved daughter of Ozella Sims.

Bernice was a devoted mother to her eight children: Liza, Gloria, Jesse, Betty, Jerome, Valley, Dennis, and Lavell. She was also a loving grandmother to twenty three grandchildren.

Bernice had a passion for fishing and knitting, and spent many hours enjoying these hobbies throughout her life. Her kind and gentle spirit touched the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Bernice Bryant will always be remembered for her strength, love, and unwavering support for her family. May she rest in peace.
