Bernice Mary Krenek Kopecky1929-201687, of Richmond, passed away December 12, 2016. She was born on October 29, 1929 in El Campo to the late Charles and Mildred Krenek.She is survived by her husband, Paul Jerry Kopecky of Richmond; daughters, Diane Spinks and husband Powell of Port Aransas, Sharon Hayes and husband Jim of Rockport, Debbie Mercatante and husband Mike of Dripping Springs; son, Paul Jerry Kopecky Jr. of Houston; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and brother, Eugene Krenek and wife Adeline of Shiner.Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; brother, George Krenek and wife Martha; sisters, Loraine Reinhart and husband Andy and Margaret Kopecky and husband Jessie.Visitation begins 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 15 at Triska Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 6 p.m. Funeral services begin 10 a.m. Friday, December 16 at Triska Funeral Home.
