Bernice A. Jenkins-DempsLansingBernice A. Jenkins-Demps ,99, of Lansing passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016.  She was born on May 17, 1917 to the late Richard U. and Susie (Mackey) Jenkins.  Bernice worked for General Motors until her retirement in 1974.  She enjoyed, cooking but more recently exchanged cooking for her Kindle.  Bernice was a woman of wisdom and wise beyond her years.  She loved listening to family and was never afraid to offer advice. She is loved and will be missed by all who knew her.Bernice is survived by two daughters: Susie Stanley and Elaine Demps;  five grand children: Terrance, Travis(Irene) , Terrill (Lisa), Stanley, Tia Harris, and JW Vincent Demps.  17great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren.A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Tiffany Funeral Home 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing.  Service will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the Friendship Baptist Church 2912 Pleasant Grove. Lansing, MI. with Rev. Dr. Clyde D.
