Bernice Phillips , 71, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed on November 09, 2021. Bernice was born on January 16, 1950 in Miami, Florida. Bernice worked tirelessly for mental health benefits for veterans all across America. As she battled mental illness herself it was her passion. What she contributed to not just our family but society as a whole will be greatly missed.. 

Bernice was the third of Eight children born to Esther and Solomon Phillips. Bernice leaves behind six siblings. Solomon Phillips of Leavenworth, Ks, Bruce Phillips of Kansas City, Mo, Thomas Phillips of Mayport, Mo, Gloria Phillips of Atlanta, GA, Pamela Reynolds of Miami, FL, and Linda Phillips of New York City. Bernice had a host of other family and friends who will miss her.. Preceded in Death by Parents and Sister Patricia Phillips.
