Bernard Lenart, of Erie, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 21, 2022 at 61 years of age, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bernard was born on May 12, 1961 to Joseph and Mary Lenart, in Trafford, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Trafford High School in 1980, Bernard became a carpenter at Rycon Construction and remained in that field for over 35 years. He enjoyed working with his hands, being with his family and living his life to the fullest. Bernard is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dawn Lenart, and three children, Teresa, Joseph, and Joshua. He will also be fondly remembered by his 8 grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held for family and friends at Jobe Funeral Home on October 28th, 2022, from 6-8pm, located at 118 Shaw Avenue, Turtle Creek, PA 15145. Funeral proceedings will be held on Saturday, October 29th, 2022, beginning at 11 a.m. from Jobe Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Jobe Funeral Home. All friends and family are welcome and encouraged to attend and help celebrate the wonderful life of Bernard.
