Bentley Jefferies, 51, of Wilmington, died Sunday, April 30, 2012, at North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill.
He was born on May 22, 1960, in Harrisonburg, Va., the son of Kenneth and Carolyn Jefferies.
Bentley has been a resident of Wilmington since 1989. He was a successful realtor for many years before opening "Something Else," an antique store in Jacksonville.
Surviving in addition to his parents, is his brother, Caleb Jefferies; and his best friend, Pat Harris.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 4 at First Baptist Church in Wilmington with Dr. Jim Everette officiating. Interment will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Kenneth and Carolyn Jefferies following the service.
