Bennie Ray Washington, 60, of Florence, Mississippi, passed on December 12, 2020. Bennie was born on January 26, 1960. He was the son of Lora(deceased) and James Washington(deceased). Born and partially raised in Mississipi later on when he turned 10 his parents then moved them up to Chicago Illinois where he would spend the remainder of his childhood. Growing up he took interest in baseball. His favorite player was Dick Allen of the Chicago White Sox.

Later on he would attend King High School and then right after completion join the United States Army as a United Supply Specialist. Four years later he then met the love of his life Pamela Sherlott Washington. The two bared two wonderful children; Kenneth Ray Washington and Tamela Washington.

Bennie Ray will be deeply missed by his wife(Pamela), Children(Kenneth and Tamela), grandchildren (Paris,Siedah,Corin,Ashley, and Semaj) and a host of Cousins and friends.
