FREMONT — Ben L. Buck, age 62, of Fremont, Indiana, passed away at his home on Friday, June 26, 2015. He was born on February 5, 1953, in Angola, Indiana, to Leighton O. and Betty J. (Banker) Buck. Mr. Buck graduated from Fremont High School in 1972. He served in the United States Army, receiving his honorable discharge in 1975. He worked as a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed woodworking. Survivors include his brother, Hubert A. and Connie Buck of Homer, Michigan; his nieces and nephew, Debra (Tim) Perkins, Becky Buck, and Hugh Buck; and nine great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leighton and Betty Buck, and a sister, Linda May Buck. A combined graveside service for Ben Lee Buck and his father, Leighton O. Buck, who had passed away on February 10, 2011, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Fremont Cemetery, with Chaplain Mike Collins officiating. Military honors will be conducted by members of the Fremont American Legion Cassel Post # 257. Memorials are requested to the Fremont American Legion Cassel Post 257.
