Weslaco - Belen C. Garza, 79, passed away to be with the Lord on December 5, 2016. She was born on July 2, 1937 in Cerralvo, Nuevo León, Mexico to Jose P. and Teodora Jasso. She is survived by her children Maria Guadalupe (Arturo Villaseñor), Graciela (Jose de Jesus Villaseñor), Conrado, Jr. (Rosalba), Gerardo (Cecilia), Guilma Lorenna, Juan Jose (Rebecca), Luis Rey (Sylvia) and Urbano (Lorena),She is also survived by her grandchildren: Yannira Li (Artemio), Yanneli Aimee (Issac), Arely Lupina, Arturo, Jr., Dannick Graciela (Elias Hernandez), Annika Lamar (Adam Nahhas), Brianna Vianney, Frank Leal, Jr. (Melissa), Stephanie Lauren, Brittanie Leann, Conrado III, Patricio Alejandro, Daniela Anahí, Christian Naím, Jayda Nicole, Jaycob Jayce, Luis Rey, Jr. (Karionne), Erika Ernestina (Peter Hoag), Alexandro (Corey), Miriam (Armando) Conrado (Mari), Ernestina, Urbano, Viridiana (Fabian Garza), and Evelyn.As well as his great-grandchildren: Jesus Issac, Ian Alejandro, Charlotte Elise, Joshua James, Jake David, Easton, Kaia, Issac, Isabella, Eva Maria, Cain Alexander, Briana, Lauren, Emiliano, Omar, Fabian Jr., Diana,Belen was preceded in death by her husband, Conrado, her parents, her siblings Baldemar, Birtha, and Antonio.Belen was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking her traditional Mexican breads for one and all. Loving children, the highlight of her days was seeing her grandchildren. She loved babysitting for friends, caring and loving their kids as grandchildren, too. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend her viewing at Funeraria Del Angel-Highland Funeral Home from 3 - 9 pm on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 with the Rosary beginning at 7 o'clock. The mass will commence at 11 am on Wednesday, December 7, 1016 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel-Highland Funeral Home of Weslaco, Texas.
