Becky Smith, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 80. She was born on September 15, 1945, to her parents Robert and Julie Martin.

Becky married her beloved husband Charles Smith in 1953 and together they raised three wonderful children, Charles, Cheryl, and Michelle. She was also a proud grandmother to six grandchildren.

Becky attended Savannah High School before continuing her education at Armstrong University. She went on to become a Professor at Armstrong University, where she dedicated many years to shaping young minds before her retirement in 2019.

Becky was known for her many hobbies, including sewing, gardening, baking, cooking, playing bingo, and reading. She truly enjoyed life to the fullest and brought joy to all those around her.

Becky will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
