We are gathered here to celebrate the life of Basilio Diaz, who was born on April 9, 1959 in Poncitlan, Jalisco, Mexico to Juan and Maria Del Refugio Diaz. He passed away on June 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Basilio was a devoted spouse to Elizabeth Diaz, whom he married in the year 48. Together, they raised nine children: Miguel, Julio, Juan, Jose Basilio, Oscar, Maria, Jesus, Adrian, and Stephanie. He was also a beloved father-in-law to Miriam, Claudia, Ana Recendiz, Sergio Lopez, Carrissa, and Raul.

Basilio was a cherished grandfather to fifteen grandchildren and had a special talent for taking care of his plants. When he wasn't tending to his greenery, he worked as a dedicated truck driver to provide for his large family.

His sense of humor and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Basilio's battle with cancer was a tough one, but he faced it with strength and courage until the end.

Rest in peace, Basilio. Your memory will live on in the hearts of your family forever.
