SEDALIA — Barbara Jean Peek, 61, of Sedalia passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 at her home. She was born on May 2, 1955 in St. Joseph, MO the daughter of Virgil and Mary Elizabeth (Joyce) Stout who preceded her in death.
On December 8, 1998 in Kansas City, MO. she was united in marriage to Harvey Peek, who resides of the home.
Barbara loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Besides her husband Harvey, she is also survived by two sons, Josh Varnal and his wife Jennifer and Jason Varnal; five grandchildren, Stone, Sterling, Noah, Ashlynn, and Jace Varnal; two sisters, Mary Ann Stout, and Linda Martes and her husband Jim; three brothers, Virgil Stout, Danny Stout and Mike Stout all of the Kansas City area.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday November 11, 2016 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Brother Darrel Birch officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
