Barbara Barnett, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 4th, 2025 in Baltimore City, Maryland. She was born on January 13th, 1958 to Hue and Francs Williams.

Barbara is survived by her four children, Donta Williams (spouse Brittany Hardy), Lajoy Banks, Latrice Barnett, and Deron Barnett. She also leaves behind 12 adoring grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Barbara attended Patterson High School, graduating in 1976. She continued her education at BCCC, earning her degree in 2010 for Criminal Justice. She worked as a nurse caregiver before retiring at the age of 63.

In her free time, Barbara enjoyed decorating, watching Disney movies, cooking and baking, taking care of animals, and playing dominoes. (fun fact: she was a Tim Burton fan!!! And she loved peacocks and elephants!!!)

Despite her battle with stage four cancer, Barbara maintained her sense of humor and positive and stubborn attitude until the end. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
