SMITHBarbara Ann (nee Caldwell), age 83, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2017. Barbara is preceded in death by her late husband David Lee Smith, Sr. and her son David Lee Smith, Jr. Devoted mother to her children Dean Smith (Tammy); Tammy Bramble (Todd); Kelly Corder (Roger); Cindy Niehaus (Todd); and devoted grandmother to her grandchildren Chris (Karla), Kyle (Taylor), Kevin (Erika), Jesse (Loren), Nicole (Paul), Alex (Melissa), Tara (Chris), Austin (Janie) and Skylar; and great grandchildren Peyton, Jordan, Charlee, Cruz and Theo; along with many loving life-long friends. Barbara was born on April 17, 1934 in Hillsboro, Ohio, to parents William & Marie Caldwell. She was preceded in death by her brothers, William & Richard. She graduated from Florida State University. She enjoyed spending time with family & friends. She had an avid love for her furry friends and enjoyed playing bingo with all of the special friends she met along the way. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at The Anderson Center, 7850 Five Mile Road, 45230 on Friday, June 9, 2017. Friends may visit from 1-3 p.m. with a service and reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made in Barbara's name to Animal Rescue Fund, Inc. (ARF) 85 Lucy Run Road, Amelia, Ohio 45102.
