We are gathered here today to celebrate the life of our beloved Bélen Vasquez, who passed away on July 13, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Born on May 4, 1932, Bélen was the daughter of Antonio Vasquez and Francesca Cruz. She was the loving spouse of Miguel Angel Vasquez, whom she married in 1957.

Bélen was a devoted mother to her six children, Juan Antonio, Angel, Maria, Yessica, Humberto, and Jorge. She adored her family and cherished the time she spent with them. Bélen also had the joy of being a grandmother to three precious grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Bélen brought light and laughter to all who knew her. Her sense of humor and kindness were contagious, and she will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to have her in their lives.

Although we are saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing that Bélen is now at peace. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and her memory will live on in the stories we share and the love we continue to carry for her.

Rest in peace, dear Bélen. Your spirit will continue to shine bright in our hearts.
