In loving memory of Azia Valdez, who graced our lives with her vibrant spirit from June 7, 1996, until her journey came to a close on September 27, 2026. Hailing from Arlington, Texas, Azia was the loving mother of two wonderful children, Gabriel and Athena, who will continue to carry her light forward. Leaving behind, her brother Juan Diego Valdez and sister Kathryn Aguirre, grandmother Kathryn Padilla-Gomez and many more.

Azia was not just a dedicated mother but also a proud veteran, serving our country as a Corporal (E-4) in the Army. Her commitment to service mirrored her tenacity in life and her endless love for her family.

She was cherished by many and will be remembered for her infectious laughter, warm heart, and the way she brought people together. Though she faced her own battles, Azia's spirit will forever shine in the memories of those who loved her and in the hearts of Gabriel and Athena.

She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Kathryn Padilla. While her departure leaves a void, Azia's legacy of love and strength will live on through her children and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rest in peace, dear Azia. You will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
