On May 8th, 2025, the world lost a bright soul with the passing of Avery Mattingly of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born on September 5th, 2009, to Bob and Stacy Mattingly, Avery brought love and joy to all who knew her.

Avery attended Marion County High School before continuing her studies at the University of Louisville, where she excelled and graduated in 2025. Driven by her passion for helping others, Avery pursued a career as an Emergency Department Nurse at Baptist Harden, where she touched the lives of countless patients with her compassion and skill.

Outside of her work, Avery had a deep love for nature and animals, often spending her free time painting and dancing. She cherished her friends and family, always making time to create TikToks and share laughter and joy with those she loved.

Though Avery had no children of her own, she left an indelible mark on the world through her kindness and generosity. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rest in peace, dear Avery. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
