It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Avery Smith, who departed this world on December 25, 2025. Avery was born on March 5, 1960, in Washington, District of Columbia, to parents Andrew and Frances Smith.

Avery dedicated their career to Charles Auto Service, where they poured their passion into working on cars and providing exceptional service to customers.

Aside from their work, Avery enjoyed spending time tinkering with cars, a hobby that brought them great joy and satisfaction.

Although Avery did not have any children of their own, He did have a dear friend Margo Dooles they found fulfillment in their work and hobbies, leaving a lasting impact on those around them.

Avery's battle with throat cancer was fought with courage and resilience, but sadly, they succumbed to the illness, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.

Avery Smith will be deeply missed by his sister Arleen Smith, Karen Jordan 1 brother Steven Marshall sister in law Terri Marshall 4 nieces Arleisha Smith, Candra Marshall, Tonya Flemster and Sherise Flemster 1 newphew Richard Smith a host of family, friends, and colleagues, but their memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved them.
