SchottNovember 14, 1935 - August 14, 2014Audrey Louise (Moore) Schott, 78 of Caldwell, formerly of Spokane, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 while resting at home after a long battle with cancer. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Condolences and memories may be shared with her family at www.dakanfuneralchapel.com. Audrey was born on November 15, 1935 in Hanna, Canada, to George Andrew and Bessie King Moore. "Mom Moore", later "Mom Schott" gave sixteen years of her life to raising children at the Christian Children's Home of Boise, Idaho. She had 37 children go through her care throughout that time. Audrey married Karl Schott and they remained house parents at the children's home for the first four years of their marriage. Then Karl took over as pastor of Christ Gospel Fellowship in Spokane, Washington, where they served for over thirty years. Audrey leaves behind her husband, Karl Schott; 3 brothers, David Moore, Jerry Moore and Eddy Moore; and many loved foster sons and daughters. Audrey's life was lived to be of service to her Lord and Savior and King Jesus Christ.
