Audrey Markowski, born on July 31, 1941, in Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on January 14, 2025, in New Castle, Delaware. She is the daughter of the late Daniel and Lillian Key.

Audrey was a vibrant and strong-willed individual known for her fearless attitude and sassy personality. She was never one to shy away from expressing her feelings and had a unique way of making her presence known.

Audrey had a passion for cooking, eating, and shopping, activities that brought her joy and happiness. However, her greatest love was her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Markowski Sr., and her sister Joyce Ammermon.

She is survived by her beloved sons, Daniel Kane, Joseph Markowski Jr., (spouse Trixina Markowski) and Jason Markowski, (spouse Nicole Hanley) her sister in law Cathy Byorick as well as her cherished grandchildren, Loren Markowski, Joseph Markowski III, Alivia Markowski, Jason Markowski Jr., and her great granddaughter Avah Schmitt.

Audrey's caring nature and strong spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and honesty will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

A graveside service will be held at Gracelawn Memorial Park located at 2220 N. DuPont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720 on January 25th 2025 at 11:00am.
