Audrey E. Tafoya, 40, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014 in Las Vegas.She was born on April 23, 1973, in Las Vegas to Leroy Tafoya and Esther Jaramillo-Tafoya.Audrey was a kind and beautiful person both inside and out she had a big heart; she would do anything for anyone. Audrey had no ending love for her family. Audrey loved to be outdoors, riding horses, camping, but most of all spending time with her family. Rest in peace now; you will be with your daughter in heaven and you can take her in your arms and hold her and be happy again. You will always be in our hearts you will never be forgotten.A Catholic, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Aleecia Tafoya; paternal grandparents, Ambrosio and Lucy Tafoya; maternal grandfather, Santiago Jaramillo; aunt, Gladys Duran; and cousin. Courtney Martinez-Cowan.She is survived by her parents, Esther and Leroy Tafoya of Trujillo; brother, Leroy Tafoya, Jr., and girlfriend Kimberly Ludi of Las Vegas; sister, Corrine Tafoya and boyfriend, Rolando Valdez of Las Vegas; maternal grandmother, Nora Archuleta of South El Carmen; niece, Mariah Gonzales; nephew, Ethan Tafoya; uncles and aunts, Leo Tafoya (Tina), Hazel Molina (Herman), Mark Tafoya; Elaine Ortega (Rick), Evelyn Encinias (Lee), Rudy Tafoya (Lorraine), Judy Tafoya (Jose), Billy Tafoya, Liz Barbara (Andy), Albert Tafoya (Helen), Dan Jaramillo, Consuelo Medina, Velma Roybal (Harvey), Johnny Jaramillo (Greda), Phyllis Dimas (Ralph), numerous: great aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Thursday also at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant. Cremation has taken place. Burial of cremains will be at San Jose Cemetery in Las Vegas.
