Audrey Myers went to be with her Savior on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016. Funeral: 2 p.m. on Friday, at Moore Funeral Home. Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, at Moore Funeral Home. Memorials: Memorials can be made to the Mayfield Road Baptist Church or Mission Metroplex. The family thanks Town Hall Estates and Mission Hospice for the excellent care she received in her last months of life. Audrey was born on Nov. 6, 1924, in Luling, the first of five children of Murray and Edna Chipman. She graduated from Corpus Chirsti High School and married Thomas Myers in 1942. She retired from American Airlines after many years of service. She was an active, charter member of Mayfield Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas; a son, Mike; a sister, Peggy; and a niece, Janice Kay. Survivors: Audrey is survived by three daughters, Johnnie Laman (Tommy) of Plano, Pat Wideman of Garland, and Linda Sinclair; two brothers, Stanley Chipman of Lubbock and Billy Murray Chipman (Jean) of Longview; and one sister, Gewn Burk (Jerry) of Arlington; numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
