Kalk (Hanke), Audrey Anne IreneAudrey Anne Irene (Hanke) Kalk, age 90 of Sheboygan passed away August 7, 2017 at Sharon Richardson Hospice Center. Audrey was born on January 7, 1927 to Calvin and Cynthia (Kissinger) Hanke in Sheboygan. Audrey attended Plymouth area schools. She married the love of her life, Elton Kalk, on October 26 1947 at Zion Church. Elton passed away April 1, 1996. Audrey worked at Morningside Nursing Home from 1968-1971 and Memorial Hospital from 1972-1992. Audrey continued her work by volunteering at Morningside Nursing Home after retirement. Audrey will be remembered for having a kind soul that always made everyone in her presence feel special. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Audrey is survived by her five children: Nancy Paul, Janet (Steve) Goldhahn, Larry (Grace) Kalk, Randy (Roxanne) Kalk, and Lori Hochrein. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Alison (Dave) DeSchryver, Jacob (Erika) Paul, Kevin Goldhahn, Michael Goldhahn, Eric Kalk, Thom Kalk, Peter Kalk, Bryan Kalk, Natasha Kalk, Matthew Kalk, Kristin Kalk, Summer (Toua) Yang, and Rhiannon Hochrein. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and her sister, Luvilla Hofschild. Audrey is preceded in death by her husband Elton Kalk, son-in-law Jerry Paul, grandsons Brett Kalk, Craig Kalk Sr., and Joshua Paul, and great-granddaughter Breyanna Kalk. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 12 p.m. (NOON) at Zion Covenant Church, 1125 North 6th Street in Sheboygan. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (NOON), service and luncheon to follow. Burial will be following at Saron United Church of Christ.
