Donnellan, Audrey AnneAudrey Anne (Agnello) Donnellan, 79, of Owego beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on May 28th after a short illness. She was born on October 8th, 1937 in Queens, NY to the late Michael and Rose (Gallo) Agnello. Audrey graduated from The Mary Louis Academy and attended St John's University in Jamaica, NY. She spent many happy times at the family summer home in Palenville, NY, where she met her future husband. Audrey married Eugene W. Donnellan on February 7th, 1959. They moved to Owego temporarily in 1961, where they lived for the rest of her life. Audrey was extremely devoted to her family and especially close to her grandchildren. She enjoyed swimming, golfing, cooking, bargain hunting, and making handicrafts. Her sunny, generous spirit and storytelling is greatly missed by her many friends and family. Gene and Audrey's daughter Janine Marie Donnellan predeceased her in 2016. Audrey leaves behind her husband Gene, her son Dean Donnellan and his wife Sharon with their children Aidan and Alena of Cedar Park, Texas. She leaves two daughters: Laurel Donnellan of Sag Harbor, NY and Marissa Rose Donnellan and her daughter Katya Raffensperger of Easthampton, MA. Her brother Paul Agnello, her niece Michelle, her grandnephew Michael, all of New York State, as well as several cousins throughout the country also survive her. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, with a gathering to follow services. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rural Ministry of Owego or the Campville Fire Department.
