Born on September 23, 1935, in Dothan, Alabama, Auburn lived a life defined by service, dedication, and kindness. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War theater and later served his community as a police officer with the Quincy Police Department. Following his service, Auburn spent nearly 60 years as one of the area’s most respected and well-known builders, leaving a lasting mark on the community he loved. Known for his warm heart, infectious laugh, and tireless work ethic, Auburn touched countless lives through his generosity and unwavering commitment to helping others. His legacy of service, craftsmanship, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him. He will be deeply missed.
