Asiyah Abdullah, 45, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed on March 01, 2022. Asiyah was born on January 24, 1977. She was born to Camille Abdullah and Abdur-Rahman Abdullah. Asiyah went to school in the Philadelphia area where she graduated high school from Simon Gratz High School in 1995. She then went on to attend Howard University where she graduated with her Bachelor Degree in Education in 1999, then she later obtained her M.Ed from Temple University in 2010. Asiyah was a science and math teacher at Central High School in West Philadelphia. Asiyah leaves behind her mother and her father as well as a host of siblings. She leaves behind her sisters Khadijah Abdullah, Fatimah Abdullah, Rumaysah Abdullah, Sumayyah Abdullah, and Aminah Abdullah, brothers Muhammed Abdullah, Qaid Abdullah, Abdur-Raheem Abdullah, Abdus-Salaam Abdullah. She was preceded by her brother Khalid Abdullah. Asiyah loved to cook and play basketball, travel and hang around her brothers and sisters. She never had children because she said her students were her children and that she already had a child in her baby brother Abdus-Salaam since she was always keeping him out of trouble and buying him stuff. Asiyah we truly be missed and we ask that Allah makes her grave spacious and forgives her for her shortcomings Ameen.
