Arthur Ray Sims, 68Arthur Ray Sims, age 68, passed away July 16, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born on June 11, 1949, in Lusk, Wyoming, the son of Cecil R. and Pauline A. Sims. Arthur grew up in Byron, Michigan. He graduated from Byron Area High School. After high school he attended college in Detroit, Michigan. He was employed as a Medical Technician. In his younger years, he was very active in the Lyons Club and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mountain Home.Arthur is survived by his wife, Susan of Mountain Home, AR; sons Joe (Amy) and Jay (Jessica) and four grandchildren, Zackery, Dylan, Katelyn and Kelly all of Haslett, Michigan and his sister, Zaidee (Jimmy) of Flippin, AR.He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Pauline Sims and sister, Marilyn Miller. A memorial service will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
