Arthur J. DeReu, Jr. 1925 - 2016Arthur J. DeReu Jr., 90, of Kenosha, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 19, 2016. He was born on Nov. 7, 1925, in Chicago, Ill., the son of the late Arthur and Ellen (Slack) DeReu. He was educated in the schools of Waukegan, Ill. Arthur married Gilda (Jahns) Misurelli on Sept. 15, 1955, in Kenosha. He worked as a truck driver for 35 years with various trucking companies in the area. Art loved being outdoors, doing lawn work, going out to eat and enjoying time with family and friends.Survivors include a daughter in law, Pam Jahns, grandchildren, Lori Jahns, Amanda (Robert ) Becker, Andrea (Dan) Bendon, Abbey (James Gum) Jahns, and several great grandchildren, and his good friend Cindy Waas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gilda, a step son, Dennis, a brother, George, and a sister, Ellen.Committal services will be Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at 2:30 p.m. in the South Chapel of All Saints Cemetery, 3300-Springbrook Rd.
