Arnold "Arnie" DeistDes MoinesArnold "Arnie" Deist was born on September 22, 1927 in Audubon, IA the son of Charles and Elizabeth Deist. He passed away on January 7, 2017 at Senior Suites in Des Moines. Arnie managed the Standard Service Station in south Des Moines for over 25 years. Most recently, he and his wife were managers of the Sunnybrook Mobile Home Park in Berwick, IA, retiring at the age of 80.Arnie is survived by his two daughters, Donna (David) Aller and Deb (Bob) Coulson; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Adellia (Dee); son, Ronald; and sister, Evelyn. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2017, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, with burial to follow at Berwick Cemetery.
