Armida Celeste EscotoOxnard, CAArmida Celeste Escoto, aged 73, passed away following a sudden illness. She went home to join the Lord on Wednesday, April 19th. Armida was born on December 2nd, 1943 in Long Beach, California. She was the 4th child born to Jesus and Martina Hernandez. She is survived by her daughter Bernadette, who is married to Alex Avila. Her siblings include Jesus Hernandez (dec), Florence Hernandez (dec), Martin Hernandez (dec), Raul Hernandez, Albert Hernandez, Michael Hernandez, and Iris Vasquez. She will be dearly missed.A viewing will be held on April 26th, from 6 - 7pm at Camino Del Sol Mortuary, 200 North C Street in Oxnard. Funeral service will be held the following day, April 27th at Santa Clara Church, 323 South E Street in Oxnard, at 10:30 am.
