Arlene Theresa Niermann, 77FoleyMelroseMarch 31, 1939-January 29, 2017Arlene Theresa Niermann, age 77 passed away at Heritage of Foley, Foley, MN on January 29, 2017.  Memorial Mass of Christian Burial service on Monday, Feb 6, at 11 AM at St Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael, MN with visitation one hour prior to Mass at the church.Arlene was born on March 31, 1939 in Melrose, MN to Edward and Angeline (Herzog) Wessel.  She graduated from Melrose High School in 1957.  On June 6, 1959 Arlene married Frank Niermann.  She lived in Sauk Centre for most of her life before moving to Heritage of Foley in Foley in 2014.  Arlene enjoyed fishing and playing cards.Preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Angeline, two sisters, Marie and Anna Mae.Survived by her husband of 57 years, Frank; daughters, Ann (Don) Jones and Michelle (Kevin) Altenhofen; four grandchildren, Tanner, Gracie, Chloe and Kira; brother, Ralph (Marlene) Wessel.The Peterson ChapelSt. Michael/Albertville  763-497-5362 www.thepetersonchapel.com
