Arlene Lee Kosnik, 89, of Waterford, Pa. passed away on February 8, 2017, at UPMC Hamot. She was born on August 6, 1927, to the late Arlington and Daisy (Peterson) Lee in Union City, Pa. Arlene worked for Marx Toys and later for Elgin Electronics for many years. She married the love of her life, Zygmunt H. Kosnik, on August 11, 1946 celebrating 70 years of enduring love for each other and for their family. She loved to crochet, read novels, work crossword puzzles, and travel for vacations. Besides her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her loving son, Royce L. Kosnik on January 16, 2017. She is survived by her loving husband, Zygmunt H. Kosnik; a son, Carl Kosnik (Linda) of Erie, Pa.; a daughter-in-law, Marlene Kosnik of Union City, Pa.; grandchildren, Jerry Kosnik (Sherry) of Erie, Pa., Tina Kosnik of Erie, Pa., Daryl Kosnik (Stephane) of Union City, Pa., Dr. Craig Kosnik of Tempe, Ariz.; great-grandchildren, Ricky Tregaskis of Erie, Pa., Cassandra Kosnik of Corry, Pa., Sabrina, Elijah, and Octavia Kosnik, all of Union City, Pa.; and her great-great-grandson, Jerimiah Redd of Corry, Pa. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Robert M. Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 62 South Main Street, Union City, PA 16438, with a funeral service to immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
