Archie Delano Martin died in San Antonio, Texas on December 13, 2018. He follows his wife, Betty, to the glory of Heaven.

Archie leaves behind his daughters, Gwen Martin of Jacksonville, FL, Yvonne Martin of Orlando, FL, Jessica Haney and Leslie Clingenpeel of Wilmington, NC and Michelle Hart of Las Vegas, NV; along with his only son, Michael Martin of Red Oak, TX. He was a grandfather to four grandchildren.

Archie Martin was a 32 year veteran of the United States Air Force, seeing action in Korea and Vietnam. As per Mr. Martin's request his ashes will be scattered around his beloved Hill country property in Lampasas, Texas
