Brownsville - Arcelia Alvarado (Castellanos Azuela) 75, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in her home in Brownsville, TX.Arcelia was born on September 22, 1941 to the late Eduardo Castellanos and the late Maria del Carmen Azuela. She grew up in Tampico, Tamaulipas with her siblings Silvia, Lilia, Homero, the late Eduardo, Carmen, Jorge and Leticia. Arcelia graduated with a teaching degree from the Escuela Normal Matias S. Canales in 1964. However, she dedicated her life to her home and marriage of more than 53 years to Carlos Alvarado. Both raised 4 daughters: Lucelia (Javier) Santoscoy of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Patricia (Terry) Sweany from Los Angeles, California, Claudia (Rustin) Becker from Madison, Wisconsin and Karla (Fernando) Lopez de la Cruz from Tampico, Tamaulipas.
