April Novakowski, 81, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away on September 9, 2025. She was a woman of grace and kindness, known for her gentle spirit and unwavering faith. April's warm smile and compassionate heart touched the lives of all who knew her. She had a love for nature and often spent her days tending to her beloved garden. She had a green thumb and could make any plant flourish with her care and attention. April will be remembered for her giving nature, her love of music, and her dedication to helping others. She leaves behind a legacy of love and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

April was born on July 8, 1944, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and lived her entire life in the city she loved. She was a vibrant and kind-hearted soul who touched the lives of everyone she met. Her infectious smile and positive attitude brightened even the darkest days. She had a passion for helping others and dedicated much of her time to various volunteer organizations in the community.

April is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Richard, her three children; Kenneth (Christina) Novakowski, Michael Novakowski, Lynn Novakowski, Jacob (Karoline) Novakowski, and her nine grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will always be a blessing.

A memorial will be held Saturday, September 20 at 1PM at Servant's Community Church. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting friends and family bring a dish to pass if they like.
