Antonio Costabile "Tony"DoverAntonio Costabile "Tony", 75, passed away suddenly on June 28, 2017 at Carroll Hospital in Westminster MD. He was the loving husband of Marilyn J. (Walter) Costabile; together they shared over 52 years of marriage.Tony was born on October 12, 1941 in Salerno Italy and was the son of the late Aniello and Maria (Galluzo) Costabile. He worked as a sewing machine mechanic for over 62 years, during that time he owned his own business for over 18 years. He enjoyed tinkering and building doll houses, was a wonderful husband and father and he cherished the time he spent with his family.In addition to his wife Marilyn; he is survived by his sons, Roberto and his wife, Heather of Wellsville, Richard and his wife, Melisa of York, Neil of Dover, and John and his wife, Christa of Dover; his daughter, Christina Green and husband, Ronald of Dover; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Alessio and Natalino Costabile of York and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a baby son.A funeral service in celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2121 Roosevelt Ave., York 17408 with his pastor Rev. Skip Nizinski officiating. Entombment will follow at Mt. Rose Cemetery in York. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 9:30–11 a.m. at the church.
