It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony Smith, who was born on November 2, 1964, in Cumberland, Maryland, United States. Anthony peacefully departed this world on October 20, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Anthony was the beloved son of Clarence Smith and Francena Smith. He is survived by his two children, Tony Smith and Kristin Smith. Anthony was also a proud grandfather to five grandchildren.

Anthony is survived by his siblings: Clarence Smith, Jr. and wife Rebecca; Rebecca Ellis and husband Richard Ellis; Danny Smith, Sr.; Mark Smith; Ann Ruiz and husband Joe; and Deanna Spaulding. Anthony is also survived by numerous children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Anthony will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Per Anthony’s request, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be conducted at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD on Saturday November 1st, 2025 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Robin Kirchner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
