Anthony Lee Porter, 59, passed away April 2, 2019, at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was born May 28, 1959 at the Kansas University Medical Hospital.  He spent all of his life in both Kansas and Missouri.

Anthony received Jesus Christ at an early age but was baptized in the late seventies at Salem Baptist Church under the late Rev. C.B. Bailey.  Anthony attended schools in Kansas and Missouri.  He lived life to the fullest.  He loved his family and friends. 

On November 28, 2002, Anthony married Ellen Faye Porter and to that union two children were born, Arianna and Anthony Lee Porter, Jr.   Their blended family included step-children, Crystal, Jackqueline, Bradley and Ashel.

He was preceded in death by his father, great grandmother, grandmother, grandfather, 3 uncles, 2 aunts and 2 great aunts.

Anthony is survived by his older daughters, Ebony Roberts, Sharie, and Shanta Porter; Mother, Irene Porter; two older brothers, James (Nancy) Porter and Terry Porter; older sister, Vera Porter-Moore, and two younger brothers, Willie Akins, Jeffery (Pamela) Porter; a very special nephew, Terrance De’Jan Porter; and a host of other relatives.
