Anthony T. GintellaMarch 25, 2017Anthony Thomas Gintella passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 88 years of age. He was born on May 13, 1928 in Belleville, NJ to the late, Jennie and Matthew Gintella. Anthony grew up with three siblings and graduated from Belleville High School. In 1949, he married his late wife, Catherine, and had a daughter, Karlene. Anthony had been a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1977. He retired from the Maintenance Department of the Lee County School Board. Anthony will be dearly missed by his beloved daughter, Karlene Hampton; grandchildren, Tiffany Hampton Barcomb and Joel Matthew Hampton; great grandchildren, Anthony Hampton and Roman Hampton; as well as sister, Sr. Mary Gintella of Villa Walsh, New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Catherine Gintella; and brothers, Louis and Matthew Gintella.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 11:00AM at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Cape Coral, FL, followed by a reception at the home of his daughter, Karlene.
