Anthony Woods, born on August 9, 1932, in Savannah, Georgia, United States, passed away on March 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved son of Quinton Woods and Mary Ann Woods.

Anthony was a devoted husband to Sheryl Woods, whom he married in 1945. Together, they raised four children: Wesley Woods, Shira Woods (married to Caleb Wilson), Sharon Wiggins (married to Melvin Peters), and Wright Woods (married to Brianna Butler). He was a proud grandfather of seven grandchildren.

Anthony served his country with distinction in the Army, reaching the rank of Sergeant First Class. He was dedicated to his service and his country, always putting others before himself.

In his free time, Anthony enjoyed working on cars and collecting jewelry. He had a passion for creating and admiring beautiful pieces of art.

Anthony's life was tragically cut short by a stroke, but his legacy will live on through his family and all those who were fortunate enough to know him.
