Anthony Veloz, born on August 21st, 1938, in Jacksonville, Florida, United States, passed away on March 21st, 2023. He was a resident of Jacksonville for his entire life.

He loved his job deeply and had a profound impact on the lives of countless children, always going out of his way to make sure they received the best education possible.

Aside from his work as a schoolteacher, Anthony was also a big family man. He spent his days with his wonderful wife Rosemary Dooley and some days with his children. He was a loving father to George, Sharon, Rosemary, Patricia, Michael and Robert. He will be deeply missed by them, as well as by his grandchildren, whom he adored

A funeral will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 4-7PM at the Arlington Funeral Home in Jacksonville.

Anthony will be remembered for his love of teaching, but most of all for his kindness, warmth, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He will always be deeply missed but never forgotten.
