Anthony Brooks, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great - grandfather passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 86 in Washington, Washington, D.C., United States. Born on December 14, 1936, to Charlie Brooks and Maryanne Wells, Anthony grew up in a loving household that instilled in him the values of hard work, integrity, and devotion to family.

Anthony was a devoted husband to his wife, Margaret Smith, whom he married in 1955. Together, they built a beautiful life and a loving family with their six children: Patricia, Lee Henry, Marvin, Paula, Mike, and Maple. Anthony cherished his family above all else and was a dedicated father who always put his children first.

Throughout his life, Anthony worked hard to provide for his family. He worked at Trucker for many years and took pride in his job, always doing his best to support his loved ones. Anthony was a man of many talents and interests. He loved to read books, listen to music, and watch documentaries. He had a curious mind and was always eager to learn new things.

Anthony was also a proud Navy veteran who served his country with honor. He loved his country deeply and was grateful for the opportunity to serve. Anthony was someone who lived his life with purpose and dedication. He was a man of his word, always true to his beliefs and principles.

Anthony Brooks will always be remembered for his kindness, his generosity, and his unwavering love for his family. He was a role model to his children and grandchildren, and his legacy will live on through the many people whose lives he touched. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Anthony is survived by his wife, Margaret; his children, Patricia, Lee Henry, Marvin, Paula, Mike, and Maple; and his nine grandchildren. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great - grandfather, and friend.

Anthony's death was due to natural causes. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, and is now reunited with his loved ones who passed before him. Rest in peace, Anthony Brooks.
