Annmarie Hinnant, 85, passed on February 19, 2021. She was born to Fredrick and Henrietta in Raleigh, North Carolina, on September 13, 1935.

She married Martin, and they lived together in Raleigh, North Carolina. Together they raised eight children Isaiah, Patricia, Betsy, Martha, Jerry, Annie, Jane, and Douglas. Ann Marie is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

Ann Marie was a sweet, kind wholesome woman. Over half her life, she was a midwife, delivering babies and helping new parents begin their journey. When Ann Marie wasn't delivering life, she enjoyed her spare time sewing, baking, and caring for her vegetables on the lawn. Sweet as can be, everyone knew her as "NaNu," she treated everyone she met with the utmost respect and kindness. She was everyone's grandma, mother, sister, and overall friend.
