Jacksonville | Annie Marie Daw Florek, 75, was born on October 24, 1940, in Onslow County, to the parents of Ernest and Clevy Daw. Annie died at her residence on March 14, 2016. A funeral service is planned for 2 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2016, at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville. Burial will follow at Onslow Memorial in Jacksonville, NC.Annie is survived by Edward Earl "Red" Stevens, her special companion and friend of 28 years; sons, Robert Clyde Florek Jr., Edmond A. Johnson Jr. of Jacksonville; daughters, Sarah Johnson of Beulaville and Tina Johnson of Jacksonville; two sisters, Linda Wright of Asheville, NC and Martha Melvin of Jacksonville, NC; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.Anne is preceded in death by one infant son, Chad Ivan Florek; six brothers and one sister.A visitation is planned for 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville.Electronic condolences may be left for the family at Jonesfh.org.
