Anna Ruth Smith, 88, of Reedsport, Oregon, passed Thursday, February 19, 2020 in the Lower Umpqua hospital Reedsport Oregon surrounded by friends and family. Ruth was born October 22, 1931 to Curtis and Essie Middleton in Denver,Colorado. She was preceeded in death by her husband Arthur L Smith SR on Saturday July 15, 2000.

She is survived by her three children , Daughter Billie Jo Simmons of Aurora, Colorado and her sons George Simmons II, John Simmons and Thomas Simmons, Daughter Betty Jean (Jeannie) White of Reedsport, Oregon and her daughter Tina King and son Jason Reiss, and her son  Arthur L SmithJR,his wife Cindy Lynette and his daughters Kari and Marcy Smith as well as 20 Great grandchildren , 2 Great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
