COOK Anna Mae (Gohagon), 82, passed away peacefully at her home on Aug 30, 2016, after a long illness. She was a devoted sister, mother and grandmother. Anna Mae was born on Sep 8, 1933 in New Albany, IN to the late Lee and Madora Gohagon. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Garland, Elizabeth, Arthur, Christine, David, Lillian, Helen and her children Helen Jo, Alice Elizabeth, Lloyd Reed, and Barry Anthony. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her children, Eddie Cook Jr., Linda Russell (Ivan), Sandra Fugate, Lisa Cook and Andita Weathers (Aaron); 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 9am-1pm on Sat, Sep 3rd at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN) with the funeral service following at 1pm in the chapel at the funeral home.
