Redeker, Anita AlmaAnita Alma Redeker age 83, of Sheboygan, died on Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Sheboygan. Anita was born on September 30, 1933 to the late Albert and Ruth (Murdoch) Seyfried in Larkspur, California. She graduated from Tamalpaias High School and attended Marin County College in California followed by LTC in Sheboygan County. Anita Seyfried was united in marriage to Rev. William Redeker at 1st Immanuel in San Jose, CA on Oct. 25, 1959. She was employed by the Sheboygan Area School District, J.C. Penny and Roenitz Pharmacy. Anita had many hobbies which she enjoyed including crafting, stamping and photography. Anita and her husband, William, hosted many tours abroad together including Europe and the Mid-East as well as stateside. Anita sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and was a member of the Mary Martha Guild.Anita is survived by her husband, Rev. William Redeker; children, Kathleen (John) Brozovich and Michael (Mary) Redeker; grandchildren, Bridget, Aaron, Max, Sam, Victoria, Gemma and Sean; great-granddaughter, Aya; nieces and nephews, Holly Brown, Heidi Garwood, Roger Heath, Kay (Rex) Holbrook, Roger Vanderlogt and many friends and loved ones. She is also survived by her beloved Siamese cats, Hans and Fritz.Anita was preceded in death by her sister, Frieda.A funeral service will be held for Anita at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 917 Mead Ave., Sheboygan, with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. at church. Private burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reinboldfh.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial preferred to Our Savior's Lutheran Church or Sharon S. Richardson Hospice.Our family would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to Embrace, Project Independence, Sharon S. Richardson Hospice and Golden Living nursing home for the care and compassion Anita received these past several years.
