We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Angelia Downer, who was born on September 13, 1963, in Florence, South Carolina, United States. She peacefully departed this world on January 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Angelia was the beloved daughter of Thomas M Griffin Jr and Annette Griffin, preceded in death by father Levon O. Strickland. She is survived by her devoted husband Darrel Downer, and two children, Gillion L Downer (spouse Destini) and Samantha D. Marshall (spouse Maaron Greenwood), as well as her five adoring grandchildren: Dalton, Audrey, Keleigh, Maverick and Peanut making an appearance in August.
Angelia attended Summerville High School and always had a love for learning. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family, creating cherished memories that will forever be treasured.
Angelia Downer will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.
