Andy Camacho, born on June 1, 1997, tragically passed away on March 21, 2013, at the young age of 16 in the Bronx, New York, United States. He was the beloved son of Michelle Camacho and partner of Laura. Andy attended Theodore Roosevelt High School where he pursued his education and made many memories with his friends and peers. He was a bright and promising young man with a passion for learning. Outside of school, Andy was a member of a gang named Royals. He found solace and camaraderie in the group, and they became like a second family to him. Andy was fiercely loyal to his friends and would do anything to protect them. Tragically, Andy's life was cut short when he was stabbed in an alleyway. His untimely death shocked and devastated those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Although Andy did not have any children of his own, he was a beloved son, partner, and friend. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, his loyalty, and his kind heart. Andy may be gone, but he will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace. Andy is survived by his mother and his partner Laura, his only family. A public funeral will be held on June 1st, to commemorate his brilliant life. Andy's mother and Laura have started a donations fund page where 100% of funds raised will be donated to charities to fight against gang violence and the prominent issue in our society where teens across the United States and the world meet their end too early due to gang activities and violence.
